Built by an artist and taken over by healers.

 

Fito, a sailer and artist, retreated in the middle of the Caribbean jungle and built his home with creativity, originality, and love.

 

He created a magic place full of art, nature, and amazing sculptures of snakes all around the property, so the place was called "La Casa de las Serpientes" (The House of the Snakes). 

In 2015 he build a Temazcal (Mexican traditional sweat lodge) that brought shamans and healing ceremonies. Thus little by little the place started to become a Healing Place. 

 

Therefore, in 2022 "La Casa de las Serpientes" was transformed from one man's house into a Holistic Healing Center with lovely modern rooms for guests to be able to stay over and take time to heal.

The hot stones of the Temazcal are called "Abuelitas" which means "Grand Mothers". The guardians of the place requested to honor the energy of our ancestors. The grandmother of the owner was called "OMA", thus in honor of our ancestors the name has been changed to: 

OMA Holistic Healing Center.
